Diploma Part 1 (Foundation Level)

Diploma Part 2

• 2 principal passes including Pengajian Am/General Paper (min CGPA 2.0 & above) at STPM level & 4 credits at SPM Level (Min. pass in BM) ;or
• 2 passes at A Levels & 4 grade B passes at O Levels/GCSE ; or
• 5 B’s at UEC Level with minimum pass in English & Mathematics
• A qualification that is accepted by APIIT/UCTI as equivalent to the above

Direct Entry to Level 1 of the Degree Programme

• 2 principal passes including Pengajian Am/General Paper (min CGPA 2.0 & above) at STPM level & 4 credits at SPM Level (Min. pass in BM); or
• 2 passes at A Levels & 4 grade B passes at O Levels/GCSE; or
• 5 B’s at UEC Level with minimum pass in English & Mathematics
• Students who wish to take Engineering programmes must have good principal passes (Grade A to B) in Mathematics & Physics (any exceptions is subject to approval of the Engineering Academic board- please submit for evaluation)
• The UCTI Foundation or equivalent; or
• Pre-University eg CPU, SAM (at Least 60% or TER 60)
• A qualification that is accepted by APIIT/UCTI as equivalent to the above

Direct entry to Level 2 or the Degree Programme

• Successful completion of APIIT/UCTI Diploma; or
• Successful completion of studies (eg 2 ½ years Diploma) in another recognized Institute with academic credits equivalent to Level 1 of an Honours Degree. (subject to approval of the APIIT/UCTI Academic board)

The Staffordshire University Computing degrees are more specialized in the area of Multimedia, Software Engineering, Web Development, Mobile Computing, Knowledge Management, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Security & Biometrics.

UCTI offers Information Technology degrees which gives an opportunity to study a modern IT degree allowing students to specialize in important areas such as Enterprise Computing, Information Systems Security, Intelligent Systems, Network Computing and the fast emerging area of Forensic Computing.

The application forms can be downloaded from the respective websites after the official SPM/STPM results are released in March.

The scholarships are offered to needy Malaysian students with good academic achievements & active in extra-curricular activities.

The Sin Chew & NST scholarships are available for the undergraduate UCTI Degree programmes & will cover tuition fees only.

No, the programmes offered are 3+0 programmes except for Engineering programmes which is 4 years.

UCTI provides apartment type accommodation located close to the campus with full condominium facilities, including swimming pools, launderettes, clubhouses, restaurants, 24 hr security, etc. All units are furnished with basic amenities, including a living room set, dining room set, air conditioning, washing machine, kitchen and bedroom furniture. Internet Access and Satellite TV are complementary for Deluxe Accommodation only. Cost ranges from RM 300 – RM 550 (twin sharing basis); depends on the type of accommodation chosen. Free scheduled transportation is provided to and from APIIT for APIIT accommodated students.
