FBM@MINES – A Waterfront Experience!

In order to ensure that we are able to continue to provide a conducive learning environment for students in the interim while the main Campus is being constructed, additional temporary teaching/learning facilities have been created for staff and students, particularly for the Faculty of Business and Management, at the Mines Waterfront Business Park, Mines Resort City. These facilities (simply called FBM@Mines), are extensions to the existing facilities located in TPM.

This temporary facility, FBM@Mines is a self-contained facility, and provides a scenic environment for all with the golf course and the lake as its back drop. The soft green environment combined with the lake provides a breathtaking atmosphere and a very conducing learning environment.

FBM@Mines comprises a main Teaching Block which is connected to the Mines Waterfront Complex, where the FBM Library and Faculty Offices are located. The Main Teaching Block houses all teaching/learning spaces, laboratories, discussion and presentation rooms as well as support services such as the administrative office, photocopying and printing facilities and social areas.

Connected to the Main Teaching Block via a covered walkway, the FBM@Mines Library is located on the Ground Floor of Block D, and further down the walkway are the Faculty Offices on the 4th and 5th Floors of Block A.

Access to FBM@Mines will be via the entrance to the Palace of the Golden Horses, accessible from the STC Roundabout, and past the parking ticket booth.
