Classrooms equipped for study

All classrooms and lecture halls are equipped with audio-visual, media and computing facilities to support learning in class.

IT labs

All students have access to state-of-the-art computer facilities that include the latest PCs and workstations with Internet connection, operating systems, software suites and commercial programming software in multiple IT labs built for project work, multimedia production, software and internet programming. Furthermore, all around the campus you will have access to wireless Internet so you can learn anywhere, anytime.

Engineering Labs

Learning and understanding of the various Engineering principles at different levels is supported by hands-on laboratory work. This is undertaken in fully-equipped laboratories for Analogue and Digital electronics, Communications Engineering, Electrical Power, Controls and Automation, as well as Materials and Testing laboratories and the Mechanical workshop.

As well as this, in order to enable students to learn and understand the latest high-tech engineering techniques, software such as Matlab, Multisim (Simulation) and Autodesk Inventor (Engineering Design) have been installed in the Engineering software and Microprocessor laboratory. Students can make use of all these facilities to do their incourse work and projects.

Convenience shop The convenience shop sells computer disks, telephone cards, stamps, stationery items, cold drinks, chocolates and various other merchandise to students and staff. Located next to the photocopy and binding centre, the facility is open till late evenings to cater to part-time students. A plethora of publications, periodicals and newspapers are also available for sale.

Library

Our library is a gateway to a comprehensive collection of books, journals, periodicals, student projects and other related publications to support learning and research for all students and staff. In addition, you can access online digital libraries from leading providers such as Proquest, Emerald, ACM and Current Law Journals. The library also houses areas for individual and group study, computer facilities and a photocopying facility. The library is open on Mondays to Fridays from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Caféteria

Popularly considered the best food outlet in the whole Technology Park Malaysia (TPM) complex, our cafeteria serves a wide range of halal Asian and western food. It is located on the ground floor adjoining the social space and is frequently patronised by employees from our neighbourhood companies in TPM.

The cafeteria is opened from 7:30 AM to 7:45 PM. It is also popular with part-time students who can get meals before going for evening classes.

Social space

We believe that it is important to keep a healthy balance between study and leisure. The social space located on the ground floor is for you and your friends to unwind, relax, socialise and mingle. Underpinning the idea for fun and relaxation, the facility is painted in bright colours and designed to be spacious and well-equipped to cater for a wide range of indoor games.

During leisure, you can partake in a game of table-tennis, football, or pool. The less energetic pursuits include caroms, chess and other board games. A satellite TV in the facility is very popular for students who are keen on sports.

Adjoining the social space is a dedicated area for the SARC (Students Activities and Recreation Council) members to have meetings for various clubs and activities.

Surau

The male and female suraus located on the ground floor are available for Muslim students and staff when they find it difficult to attend the mosque prayers in between classes.
