The Dual Degree Programmes

The Dual Degree Programmes are offered through a unique collaborative partnership between UCTI and Staffordshire University, United Kingdom, through which Staffordshire accredits undergraduate programmes that are designed and delivered by UCTI. On completion of the programme, students will be awarded two undergraduate degree Certificates and Transcripts: one from UCTI and one from Staffordshire.

The programme provides students with enhanced opportunities for further study and career development, especially since both degrees are earned from reputed and quality Institutions from two different countries. The most obvious benefit of the partnership is the opportunity for students to gain degrees from Malaysian and UK higher education institutions that are recognised locally and internationally.

The UCTI-Staffordshire Dual Degree Programmes are offered under an approved collaboration in accordance with the Code of Practice for the Assurance of Academic Quality and Standards in Higher Education as published by the United Kingdom Quality Assurance Agency’s (QAA). UCTI’s academic programmes are all approved by the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia and the qualifications are accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).

Staffordshire University
Our partner in quality

In the course of more than a decade of providing high quality education and training, the APIIT Education Group has received the support and assistance of many very reputable education providers worldwide.

This support has come in the form of partnerships for the development of curriculum, the recognition and endorsement of our students' qualifications, activities in moderation and validation, faculty sharing and a host of other activities.

All the partners we work with in the United Kingdon, Australia and elsewhere have contributed in some way or other to the development, growth and ultimate success of the APIIT Education Group, and APIIT in particular.

Our longest standing partner and ally through all of this has been Staffordshire University, United Kingdom and this partnership is the longest surviging relationship between a UK University and a Malaysian institution.

When APIIT was initiated by the Malaysian government to develop IT education and training, we looked for and found, in Staffordshire University, one of the key providers of IT education worldwide.
