Information Technology Programmes

The information technology discipline aims to:

• Facilitate your academic and vocational progression by developing knowledge, key skills and capacity for independent and lifelong learning
• Develop your skills in imaginative problem-solving and decision-making
• Develop your Personal Development Portfolio to support your career aspirations
• Provide a stimulating, interactive and accessible course of study to give you a sound grasp of information technology knowledge, analysis and contemporary issues which you can develop and apply in future employment

• Develop your intelligence, ingenuity, inventiveness and independence as well as your communication skills

Business Programmes

The business discipline aims to:

• Facilitate your academic and vocational progression by developing knowledge, key skills and capacity for independent and lifelong learning
• Develop your skills in innovation, ingenuity and integration for problem-solving and decision-making in a business context which reflects a particular focus of the respective programme, i.e. business management, international business management, marketing, human resource management, accounting, or technopreneurship
• Develop effective and imaginative information communication skills
• Develop your Personal Development Portfolio to support your career aspirations
• Provide a stimulating, interactive and accessible course of study to give you a sound grasp of business knowledge, analysis and contemporary business issues which you can develop and apply in future employment

Services and Tourism Management

The services and tourism management discipline aims to:

• Facilitate progression, both academic and vocational, by means of developing knowledge, key skills and a capacity for independent and lifelong learning.
• Develop your skills in innovation, ingenuity and integration as well as problem solving and decision making in a business context which reflects the particular focus of the course e.g. Services Management and Tourism Management.

Computer Games Development & Web Media Technology Programmes

The computer games development and web media technology discipline aims to:

• Help you create innovative and imaginative multimedia work that integrates interactivity and information to develop products of high standard
• Facilitate your evaluation and implementation of technology in a business environment
• Develop the ability to manage technology systems in the media and entertainment industries

Media Programmes

The media discipline aims to:

• Provide a stimulating, interactive and accessible course of study to give you a sound grasp of media knowledge, analysis and contemporary media, marketing or multimedia issues which you can develop and apply in future employment

Engineering Programmes

The engineering programmes aims to:

• A broad education in the fundamentals of engineering principles and professional practices that forms a strong, flexible base and enables graduates to fill a variety of responsible engineering positions.
• Specialized development in one area of concentration that will enable graduates to successfully perform at entry-level engineering positions. Some graduates will prefer and be capable of continuing their education in graduate school.
• A stimulating and accessible course of study necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global and social context, analysis and contemporary engineering issues which the students can develop and apply in their near future.
• An opportunity for students with different abilities and different educational experiences to benefit intellectually and vocationally from their education in engineering courses.
